I finally put up the seascape pictures on my Photography page. I was only able to put up the ones that I had previously scanned or that I took on my digital camera, which means there are no Puerto Rico pictures. That seems almost criminal. I'll have to add some eventually, but going through all those pictures just now made me really miss the ocean. :(
I submitted a short story to The Writer short story contest so cross your fingers! It was a fun, little story about this rather strange picnic I attend last year. I know that there are some other short story contests ending in a day or two, but I'm probably going to miss those deadlines in favor of working on some bigger writing projects.
On the entertainment front I'm a little too excited about two upcoming things. First, have you guys seen the new Harry Potter trailer?! My roommate and I turned off the lights and let it play and got so engrossed in it that I almost cried. I can't wait to see it, but part of me doesn't want it to actually arrive beause then it's over. I haven't come to terms with that yet.
I'm also excited about the adaptation for The Perks of Being a Wallflower. They start filming soon and I'm really curious to see if Chbosky stays true to the book (since he did write it after all) and how he brings it to life. It's such an interesting book and deals with all kinds of issues that I don't want them to gloss over and take out. Either way I'm excited about it, and no, not just because it stars Hermione Granger. :)
Alright, I'm off to write.
