I didn't get the chance in the last update to talk about my trip home to Florida and how I went to the midnight showing of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2! We went to the midnight show at Universal City Walk where I knew there would be an abundance of Snapes, Hermiones, Harrys, Dementors, and a very convincing Mad Eye Moody among others. The last movie was everything I wanted it to be and I sat there absorbing every moment and scene. I adored it and knew I'd be seeing it more than once in the theater for sure.
The best part, however, came at the end of the movie where we were given an amazing surprise. They opened the park just for us so we could go to Hogwarts and drink some butterbeer in celebration of the midnight showing! We were greeted on a red carpet by the park employees who cheered for us as we entered Hogsmeade. It was truly an unreal experience. I took a few pics, of course, to share with you guys!

In non-Potter news, I got to see one of my favorite bands ever perform this week. Better Than Ezra!!! I think I've seen them in concert well over ten times and I wasn't about to miss their free show in Baltimore. Unfortunately, they were carding at the front and my roommate's ID is expired so they didn't let us in. But I'm not one to let that deter me. We headed to the back where I enjoyed the show from behind the stage. As an added bonus, we got a wave from Kevin Griffin as he made his way to the stage. Score!
So that's been my fun these past two weeks, but outside of that it's all about focusing on the big Vizcaya project. Please spread the word, and back the project if you haven't yet!!!
